Our Air Conditioning Installation Process
Our air conditioning process will keep you informed of your air conditioning installation and leave you feeling confident to operate your quality new system at the end.
After the handover, Camray Air are available to answer any questions and provide ongoing after sales service and support.
1. Create Your Air Conditioning Design
We start by designing your air conditioning system with two key things in mind:
- Finding the perfect fit for your lifestyle and budget
- Maximising that system’s capacity to deliver peak performance
New home builders – lets chat before construction begins. This helps our air conditioning installers to work in with architects and builders to integrate the air conditioning installation.
Established property owners – a complimentary on site consultation to identify and advise on your best air conditioning installation options.
2. Review Our Proposal
We’ll provide our quote and a plan based on our discussions. The proposal will list any special requirements for builders of new homes and show how we’ve customised an air conditioning system to meet your needs.
If you have any questions at this stage, our team is here to answer them.
3. Finalise The Plan
If there any changes or upgrades you would still like to make, now is the time.
On acceptance of your quote if you are building we will also finalise your plans with any changes or detailing as required for your builder.
4. Installation
New Homes Installation
For new homes air conditioning installation generally happens in two or three stages, and is integrated into the overall construction process:
- Rough-in – This stage makes up around 70% of your install. It happens once the roof is on and includes, your fan coil unit, ducting and preliminary refrigerant piping and wiring
- Fit-off – Once the ceilings are painted, we install all ceiling and wall diffusers and return air grilles
- Condenser and controls – your home is 99% finished with paving and power to your switchboard. Now we install your outside condenser unit and controller(s) and test the system ready for handover
Established Properties
For established properties, air conditioning installation will take one to two days. Our team will coordinate the trades needed to complete the ducting, pipework, and electrical work ready for handover.
